A few days later, on the 19th July, the record for an overnight low temperature was beaten, when the ground surface temperature did not fall below 25.8 degrees C. Data obtained by the Ecosystem Spaceborne Thermal Radiometer Experiment on Space Station (ECOSTRESS) instrument onboard the International Space Station (ISS).
