Left fore fin of an ichthyosaur resting on an ammonite found in Bristol Channel. The ichtyosaur dates from 200 million years ago during the Hettangian stage of the early Jurassic. A plesiosaur tooth stuck in a fin bone can also be seen. Collection Jean-Philippe et Francois-Xavier Blouet, paleontologists.
