FOUR PANELS EACH WITH THREE PORCELAIN PLATES.
China. 19th/20th c.
Porcelain with overglaze colors. Panels of dark hardwood with frame and hanging device. In the upper porcelain plates a landscape with title in seal script. In the middle plates in square shape with beveled corners a one corner composition with cyclic dating (1852 or 1912). These have been produced by a special technique with very finely cut stencils. The lowest row of plates in curved rectangular form with the hundred antiques and each with a signature and seal of Wang Shaowei. 85.5 x 39.5cm. Wang; Shaowei (active about 1862-1908); but attributed. Condition A/B. One plate chipped.
