Chain of dipole magnets inside the tunnel at point 1 (ATLAS) of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN (the European particle physics laboratory) near Geneva, Switzerland towards the end of Long Shutdown 2 (LS2). LS2 was a 2-year shutdown ahead of a new LHC run, Run 3, in 2022. Photographed on the 23rd September 2021.
