Elizabeth Cady Stanton (1815-1902), American writer and activist. Stanton was president of the National Woman Suffrage Association from 1892 until 1900. She also challenged religious orthodoxy in 'The Woman's Bible' (1895 and 1898). Photographed between 1918 and 1921.
