Harbin, China - January 2000; Jile Temple (literally: "Temple of Bliss") of Harbin, China is the largest Buddhist building complex in Heilongjiang and was constructed between 1921 and 1924. Here we see it in mid-winter during the annual Ice Festival. I like the way the incense urn echoes the shape and architecture of the pagoda.
