The King Visits a Night Fighter Station -The King with a flight of night fighter's pilots before they took off. The King last night (Wednesday, May 7th) visited a night fighter station where he was introduced to some of the crack pilots, After supper he made a tour of the station inspecting machines and personnel. He chatted to some of the pilots before they took off on their devastating attacks on German bombers last night when our fighters destroyed 22 of the enemy. May 08, 1941.
