A Snooker Hand! -- Freddie Mills, the boxer, was watching play at Burroughes today. He showed Carney and Smith (leaning on table) a trick they didn't know - he can hold 12 snooker balls in one hand! The semi-finals of the boys billiards championship were played off today at Burroughs Hall, London, Jack Carney, aged 15, of Ponterdawe, won his match to enter the final Colin Smith, of Crook, Durham, was expected to win the other match.
