A Press view was held at the guards Chapel, Wellington Barracks, to-day of the gift of six candlesticks presented by H.M. the King to the Chapel to commemorate its hundredth year of existence. Tomorrow the King and Queen, Queen Mary and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester attend the service at the Chapel. One hundred years ago tomorrow the King's great-grand-mother, Queen Victoria, presented a Gold Communion Plate to the Chapel on its opening. May 5, 1938.
