Famous Clock Restored -- The famous clock, Venice. Venice is preparing for the spring, when she receives visitors from every part of the world. Foreigners who already know Venice will be pleasantly surprised to see that the famous clock of the Clock Tower in Piazza San Marco, has returned to its original splendour. This clock, which is particularly admired for the vivid polychromy of its dial and the two figures of negroes striking the hours, has been thoroughly restored. June 24, 1930.
