Philip Mountabatten, R.N., whose engagement is announced today, posed for their first engagement pictures at Buckingham Palace today (Thursday). For the pictures she wore a dress of yellow daffodil silk, and the lovely diamond of her engagement ring, flanked on each side by baguette diamonds, gleamed in the soft light. July 10, 1947.
