The Village Goldsmith -- Mr. G.H. Hart working on a Chalice he is making for a church in Colorado, U.S.A. Mr. G.H. Hart has carried on the business of a silver and gold smith in the Cotswold village of chipping Campden, Glos., for nearly 50 years. His work goes to all corners of the world - at present he is busy on a number of orders for Chalices for church as in many part of the U.S.A. Orders for these cups keep arriving as a result of recommendations started by an American Priest, serving in the U.S. forces here during the war, who visited the village industry. April 20, 1949.
