100Ft. Fire Escape Ladders - One of the four 10-ton escape ladders extending to 100 feet which have just been delivered to the Metropolitan Fire Brigade from America. Two of the units are for Eastern Hill headquarters and two for Prahran. The ladders have been brought to Australia under the Lease-Lend plan by arrangement with the Home Security Department. December 29, 1942.
