New Jet Transport Unveiled--The Nation's first big Jet transport plane, a 95-ton, swept-wing plane in the 550-miles-an-hour class, is rolled out of Boeing Airplane Company's nearby Renton plant to day after christening by Mrs. William E. Boeing. New jet "Stratoliner" is described as "tanker-transport prototype, "first of a line that may be used to refuel jet bombers in flight and eventually as commercial airliners that will carry 80 to 130 passengers.
