A Rich silk scarf decorated with a portrait of Queen Elizabeth is one of the first Coronation souvenirs to be approved in Britain. The portrait shows the Queen wearing one of her favorite tiaras. The scarf (at right) is also decorated with extracts from her public speeches. The Lord Chamberlain has forbidden the use, on souvenirs, of any of the sacred State symbols used at the Coronation, or of the crown. November 10, 1952. (Photo by Associated Press Photo).
