Axial magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan showing a section of the brain of a 72-year-old patient. The patient was admitted to emergency room with a suspected subarachnoid hemorrhage, violent headaches and vertigo. The MRI scan shows a round lesion sitting at the supra-clinoid level. It is suggestive of a large aneurysm at the end of the right internal carotid artery.
