Disseminated gold in igneous rock. Gold is found in a variety of igneous rocks; in fact you could say that most every igneous rock has very tiny gold grains, invisible to the bare eye. This sample, with tiny specks and thin strings of gold, disseminated in a brecciated igneous host rock, is from a gold mining area in the Tandal area of Sumatra, Indonesia actual width is 60 mm.
