Swing Latino scool of latin dance in Cali, the Cauca Valley, Colombia, South America. Its founder is the dancer and choreographer Lu??s Eduardo Hernandez, known as El Mulato, in 1999, after a successful career in which he became world champion in salsa. His Swing Latino Tigo dance company has international prestige and the day I went to school I was on tour in Poland. The school is one of the best in Cali, and there are many in the city, more than 150, since it is considered the world capital of salsa, but the most important thing is what they achieve thanks to dance, since the dancers come from from marginal sectors of the city thanks to a program by the Swing Latino Foundation, which develops social projects in Cali, to keep young people away from crime, marginality and drugs.
