Mosquito saliva sampling. The mosquito is being prepared for salivation, where its tubular mouthparts are immersed in a tube containing a solution that will make the mosquito salivate and thus contaminate the liquid. The sample will be analyzed in relation to potential arbovirus infections that are transmitted via a blood meal and eventually reach the mosquito's salivary glands.
