Red marks on the torso of a 47 year old man in a case of dermographism, also known as dermatographic urticaria. This is an allergic reaction where the skin is hypersensitive to touch. Normally this sort of allergic response is only associated with some irritants but in dermatographism any object can evoke a response. This cause of this case is unknown.
