Anti-lockdown protest. Barbers giving free haircuts on the lawn of the Michigan State Capitol, Lansing, Michigan, USA, to protest Governor Gretchen Whitmer's emergency orders which keep many businesses closed during the Covid-19 pandemic. The protest, called Operation Haircut, was organized by the Michigan Conservative Coalition. Covid-19 is a respiratory disease caused by the new coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 that can lead to fatal pneumonia. The virus emerged in Wuhan, China, in December 2019 and spread worldwide infecting millions of people and causing hundreds of thousands of deaths. Photographed on 20th May 2020.
