The restaurant L`Aragosta at Livorno harbour is the hot spot of culinary tradition in Livorno. It is the seat of the association of the Cacciucco in Livorno. The name of the fish soup derives from Turkish "kuzuk"; meaning "small"; "small things". It refers to the historically lower quality ingredients of small fishes and others in the meal of the local fishermen.
