View of part of the facade of the Lecture Theatre on the north side of the quadrangle of the South Kensington Museum, (later renamed the Victoria & Albert Museum), in London. The terracotta columns, with alternating fluted and figured drums, were designed by Godfrey Sykes and made by Blanchard & Co. The building, in red brickwork with terracotta dressings, was designed by Captain Francis Fowke.
