'Famous Wrecks of Bygone Days: Some Historic Disasters at Sea - Recalled by the Disaster which has Overtaken the Titanic', April 20, 1912. 'The Stella, wrecked on the Casquets, near Alderney, 30 March 1899. Seventy-five lives were lost', and 'The Drummond Castle', a steamship operated by the Castle Mail Packets Co, wrecked off the Brittany coast en route from Cape Town to London on 16 June 1896. Of the 103 crew and 143 passengers on board, only 3 people survived the disaster.
