Portrait of British painter Sir Joshua Reynolds (1723-1792) who promoted the 'Grand Style' in painting, and was a founder and first president of the Royal Academy of Arts in London. He held the position of Principal Painter in Ordinary to the king. After a miniature by William Hopkins Craft, after Reynolds' self portrait of 1786.
