Pendragon Castle, Cumbria, 2014. Aerial view of the remains of a fortified tower house and its earthwork defences situated on a knoll overlooking the River Eden. The castle dates from the 12th century but, according to legend, was built by Uther Pendragon, father of King Arthur.
