In the distance is the Ch?teau de Vincennes in northern France, originally built as a hunting lodge. The central donjon is still standing. A page from the "Tr?s Riches Heures du Duc de Berry", a book of hours produced for Jean, Duc de Berry and commissioned from the Limbourg brothers. Made between c1412 and 1489, and regarded as one of the finest examples of European manuscript illumination, it is held at the Musee Cond?, Chantilly, France. Published in "Verve - No. 7, Vol. II".
