November - feeding pigs on acorns, 15th century, (1939). 'Novembre - La Gland?e'. Swineherd with mastiff grazing his pigs among the oak trees, using a stick to knock down the acorns. The fattened pigs would then be slaughtered and salted to provide meat throughout the year. A page from the "Tr?s Riches Heures du Duc de Berry", a book of hours produced for Jean, Duc de Berry and commissioned from the Limbourg brothers.
