Olive Snell pictured with Captain Beckwith preparing to ski at Murren in Switzerland. Her portraits in crayon and colour regularly appeared in The Tatler and The Bystander during the first half of the 20th century. She drew many of the famous society beauties of her day and held a successful exhibition of her work in October 1910.
