Catherine by Reginald Arkell (14 October 1882 - 1 May 1959) and Fred(erique) De Gresac (1866?1943), from 'Die Siegerin' by Oskar Friedman, et al. (Neues Wiener Stadtttheater, Vienna, 7th November 1922); music arranged by Robert Evett and Joseph Klein from works by Tschaikowsky. First produced at the Gaiety Theatre, 22nd September 1923.The Catherine in question was the wife of Peter the Great of Russia. The costume is supposed to be Russian.
