The Broken Wing by Paul Dickey and Charles W. Goddard. First produced in England at the Duke of York?s Theatre on 15th August 1922. Illustration shows cartoon drawing of what looks like the pilot making an exit with a glamorous young woman on his arm whilst passengers queue in the background. The caption below reads 'Same Lodge!!! 'A Colourful Comedy of Modern Mexico With a Sensational Aeroplane Crash'. The arrival of a plane through a living room at the end of Act I was thought the best thing in the play. Postmarked 'Paddington 30th September1924'.
