Elizabeth (Betty) Mary Furness (January 3, 1916 ? April 2, 1994) American actress, consumer advocate and current affairs commentator. Pictured applying Max Factor cosmetics while she was an MGM movie star in the 1930s, one of a number of actresses featured in a Max Factor booklet promoting the success of his cosmetics for use in the film studio, and offering tips and instructions on how they could be used by ordinary women.
