'The blue-blooded Labour members' Sir Oswald Mosley, member for Smethwick and Lady Cynthia Mosley, M.P. for Stoke-on-Trent, with their daughter Vivien and son Nicholas, on holiday at Cap d'Antibes on the French Riviera where, comments The Sketch, 'they have no doubt achieved a fine sunburn.' Cynthia, known as Cimmie was the second daughter of Lord Curzon. She died in 1933 after an operation for appendicitis. Mosley subsequently married Diana Mitford (Mrs Bryan Guinness) with whom he had been having an affair.
