Ii Naosuke Monument, in the grounds of Hikone Castle, Yokohama, Japan. Ii Naosuke (1815-1860) was daimyo (lord) of Hikone (1850-1860) and Tairo (high-ranking government official) of Tokugawa Shogunate (the feudal military government, 1858-1860). He is famous for signing the Harris Treaty with the United States.
