Chemin des Dames - Regimental badge carvings in Carriere de la Fosse aux Ours. Unique set of carvings with British, French and German badges adjacent to each other. The Royal Hampshire Regiment badge was carved in September 1914 by Alfred Brisley who started to carve it on Sunday 27th and finished it six days later on October 3rd. Shortly afterwards the French 45th Reg Chasseurs a Pied carved their badge and then on 27th Janaury 1915 the Prussian Grenadier Regiment carved their badge.
