Suffragette Arson Felixstowe. The scene at Felixstowe Town Hall, as a suffragette emerges from a motor vehicle to face the magistrates. Believed to be Hilda Burkitt who was arrested with Florence Tunks on 29th April 1914. Both were charged with the arson attack on the Bath Hotel, Felixstowe, and sentenced at Bury St Edmunds in May. Burkitt was given two years and Tunks nine months.
