Suffragette March Demonstration June 18 1910. Known as the 'From Prison to Citizenship' procession, it drew inspiration from the banner designed by Laurence Housman. Behind the W.S.P.U's Fife and Drum Band, marched the prisoners contingent, with banner which stated '617 imprisonments to win freedom for women' Note Charlotte Marsh as standard bearer at the head of the band. The W.S.P.U was joined by the Women's Freedom League, in support of the Conciliation Bill.
