The scene of devastation at Odham's Printing Works in Long Acre, Covent Garden, London following an air raid in January 1918. The basement of the building was used by people, including children, as a shelter during bombing raids but the floors above gave way and the great printing machines fell through down into the basement causing the deaths of 19 women and 10 children.
