Harry Lauder (1870-1950), Scottish music hall entertainer, pictured with a pipe he had organised, with the sanction of the War Office, to tour Scotland and the North of England and stimulate recruitment during the First World War. Don't let the spirits of the glorious past laugh us to disaster.'
