Uskudar - Istanbul, Turkey. A scene very different form the Uskudar of today, where large ferries have replaced the smaller (more numerous) boats seen at this time. The Mihrimah Sultan (Iskele) Camii (Mosque) dominates the scene - built by Mimar Sinan between 1547-8.
