The Green Mosque (Yesil Camii) is one of the most important pieces of early Ottoman architecture, which carried many elements from the Selcuk architecture. This postcard shows the wooden door of the mosque.The Yesil Mosque can be shown as the perfect blend between architecture and embellishment. It was commissioned by Sultan Mehmed I Celebi and completed between 1419?1424 by architect vezir Haci Ivaz Pasha. The architectural style known as Bursa Style begins with Yesil Camii.
