Aron, an Intourist guide in sunglasses in Bukhara (then part of Soviet Russia, now in Uzbekistan), Central Asia. The arches of Mir-i-Arab are reflected in his lenses. Aron belonged to the famous community of Jews whose ancestors, according to tradition, became separated from Moses in the Exodus from Egypt and found Bukhara instead of the Promised Land. He claimed he could trace his family back 600 years.
