Queen Anne's Mansions, a block of flats in York Street, Petty France, Westminster, London. The Court Circular for January, 1897 describes them as "a stupendous pile which, for solidity, comfort and general convenience, sets all rivals at defiance, although twenty years have elapsed and imitations have been legion". The children in the centre foreground of the shot may well have been visiting the Niagara Ice Rink, which can be seen back left.
