British Garrison at Deolali, in Nashik District in the state of Maharashtra, India - British soldiers and Officers outside the Billiard Room. The name of the town is the source of the British slang noun "doolally tap", loosely meaning "camp fever", referring to the apparent madness of men waiting for ships back to Britain. By the 1940s this had been shortened to "doolally".
