Sir Harry Donald Secombe (1921-2001), Welsh entertainer and comedian with a fine tenor singing voice. Seen here singing in Newlyn Harbour, Cornwall, possibly for a TV programme. He is well known for playing Neddie Seagoon in the BBC radio comedy series The Goon Show (1951-1960). He also appeared in musicals, and later took part in many TV hymn singing shows.
