General view of the Wudang Lamasary (Tibetan Buddhist Monastery) in Baotou, Inner Mongolia, in the People's Republic of China. Its Chinese name is Guangjue Temple. Construction took place during the 17th and 18th centuries. It is said to contain more than 1500 statues of the Buddha made of various materials, including gold and silver. Many frescos have been preserved, depicting historical and fictional figures, landscapes, flowers and birds.
