The playwright Arnold Wesker and his assistant Beba Lavrin discuss arrangements with a trades union representative in the Wellingborough Technical College hall, during the setting up of an exhibition. This event took place as part of the Centre 42 'arts into factories' movement, founded in 1961 as a result of a TUC resolution to bring the arts to the people -- Wesker was its Artistic Director.
