Trogir (Trau) - the Mala Loza, or Small Loggia. 'Loggia' is the name given to an architectural feature, originally of Italian design. They are often a gallery or corridor at ground level, sometimes higher, on the facade of a building and open to the air on one side, where it is supported by columns or pierced openings in the wall. An historic town and harbour on the Adriatic coast in Split-Dalmatia County, Croatia. The historic city is situated on a small island between the Croatian mainland and the island of Eiovo. Since 1997, the historic centre of Trogir has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
