Princess Victoria, Princess Royal of Great Britain, Crown Princess of Prussia, later Empress of Prussia (1840-1901), eldest child of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, taken in 1860. Vicky was a precocious and quick-witted child and her education was undertaken by her father, Prince Albert engendering an interest in politics and social reform. She married Crown Prince Friedrich ('Fritz') of Prussia in 1859 and was the mother of Kaiser Wilhelm II.
