Jacky Winter (Microeca fascinans pallida). At Lajamanu an aboriginal settlement on the northern edge of the Tanami Desert. Northern Territory, Australia. Found throughout most of Australia except for desert areas. Inhabits drier open woodland, regeneration burnt areas, open scrub and rough farmland. Moderately common.
